SEGA has announced that ATLUS RPG Persona 3 Reload is now available on Nintendo Switch 2. To mark the launch, SEGA also unveiled commemorative artwork by Shigenori Soejima, the original Persona 3 character designer.

What players can expect on Switch 2
Persona 3 Reload is a modern remake of the 2006 RPG, rebuilt with updated visuals, user interface, and combat systems. SEGA notes that the remake is built on the foundation of modern Persona gameplay and aims to deliver a refreshed experience for both returning fans and newcomers.
For music, SEGA says the soundtrack was composed by Atsushi Kitajoh (ATLUS Sound Team), with classic tracks rerecorded, select songs remixed, and new tracks added. The company highlighted the battle theme “It’s Going Down Now” as a global hit that surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify.
Editions and DLC notes
SEGA lists multiple versions for Nintendo Switch 2, including the Standard Edition (physical and digital) and two enhanced digital editions.
- Digital Deluxe Edition: base game plus a digital artbook and digital soundtrack.
- Digital Premium Edition: base game plus digital artbook, digital soundtrack, and a DLC pack of in-game extras.
- Note: SEGA states the Episode Aigis pack is not included in the Digital Premium Edition (or the Premium DLC Pack bundle).
In an earlier announcement, SEGA also mentioned a limited pre-order bonus for players who purchased ahead of launch (region and availability may vary).
Why this matters
The Switch 2 release expands Persona 3 Reload’s availability beyond its original 2024 launch on other platforms, bringing one of ATLUS’s most notable modern remakes to Nintendo’s newest hardware. For digital buyers, Nintendo eShop balance or gift cards can be used to purchase the game, depending on region.
