Hades II: v1.0 now available.
Supergiant Games has officially launched Hades II in version 1.0, marking the end of the game’s Early Access run and bringing the complete experience to players on PC and Nintendo Switch platforms.

What’s included in the v1.0 Launch Update
Players who followed development in Early Access will find a significant set of additions and polish in v1.0. Supergiant highlights the following as some of the biggest updates:
- The true ending of the story
- Many new fully voiced character events across the cast
- New music, alongside the completed original soundtrack
- New Fated List prophecies
- New late-game unlockables and finishing touches across the experience
Achievements, progression, and post-launch support
On Steam, the full release adds 50 achievements. Supergiant says it will monitor the launch closely and deploy hotfixes or patches if issues arise, while taking time to reflect on what comes next for the studio.
Platforms, performance, and cross-saves
Hades II v1.0 is available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Supergiant also notes cross-save support between the Nintendo Switch family of versions and the PC versions, making it possible to continue the same run across supported platforms through an in-game menu.
Ahead of launch, the studio said the Nintendo Switch 2 version targets 120 fps at 1080p in TV Mode, and 60 fps at 1080p in Handheld Mode. The original Nintendo Switch version targets 60 fps at 720p.
Original soundtrack
The v1.0 release also completes the Hades II Original Soundtrack, composed by Darren Korb. Supergiant describes it as the studio’s biggest soundtrack to date, with just under four hours of music.
Nintendo Switch 2 retail edition details
Supergiant previously announced a retail edition for Nintendo Switch 2, compatible with the original Nintendo Switch, scheduled for November 20, 2025. The package includes a full-color Character Compendium booklet, a soundtrack download code, and a reversible cover. Pricing can vary by region.

Players control Melinoe, the immortal Princess of the Underworld, battling beyond the underworld with dark sorcery to confront Chronos, the Titan of Time. The sequel expands on the original with new locations, systems, weapons, characters, and story content designed to unfold across repeated runs.
